Built for heavy-duty use, the Ankarsrum Assistent was built without gears so it can power large batches of dough, grind large quantities of meat, and even power a high-speed blender without overheating.
A 600 watt motor powers the worm drive that powers the mixer.
Here's what we Love:
*Lower profile fits under most upper cabinets so it can easily live on your counter where you use it.
*Detachable cord can be easily stored inside the bowl for compact storage
*Dust cover allows you to store the components inside the bowl and keep everything clean!
*The large 7 liter bowl can handle up to 5 kg. of dough at once (equivalent to about 21 cups of flour or about 4 loaves of bread).
*The large stainless steel bowl rotates and has ample room to allow the user to continually add ingredients without having to turn off and tilt a head or drop the bowl each time.
*The bowl scraper (dough knife) keeps the bowl scraped as it rotates.
*The 3.5 liter beater bowl has two sets of beater heads for creaming or whipping.
*The built in timer allows you to set it to mix for up to 12 minutes and it will shut itself off if you're not back.
*Everything except the Tritan plastic bowl is dishwasher safe. The plastic beater bowl should be hand-washed.
